Accessibility statement
This site should be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification or high contrast settings.
1. Standard
The site aims to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, at level AA, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.
2. What has been done
- Pages use headings, landmarks, lists and data tables, so assistive technology can navigate them.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the element in focus is clearly outlined.
- The score history chart can be explored with the keyboard: focus it, then use the left and right arrow keys, Home and End to move between days, and Escape to close the reading. Each reading is announced to screen readers.
- The gauge has a text description, and every value in the chart is also available as a table.
- Color is never the only way information is shown: every color band appears with its name and score.
- Text meets the WCAG AA contrast ratio in both the light and dark themes, and the site follows your device's light or dark setting.
- Pages can be zoomed and adapt to small screens. There are no animations, time limits or pop-ups, and everything except the chart works without JavaScript.
3. Known limitations
- The chart itself is a picture. Screen reader users can step through it one day at a time, and the table under it holds every value.
- The colored arcs of the gauge are decorative and some are faint. The score and band name printed under the gauge carry the same information.
- The site is available in English only.
4. Reporting a problem
If something on the site is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us at elrisit.apps@gmail.com. It helps to say which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. Every report is read, and problems will be fixed as quickly as possible.
