1. What this site is
The Israel Hi-tech Jobs Fear & Greed Index is an independent, non-commercial project. It publishes a daily score from 0 to 100 that tries to summarise the mood of the Israeli Hi-tech jobs market. By using this site or its data, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. How the index is made
The score is computed automatically, without human review of each day, from publicly available sources: job openings published by companies and job boards, news headlines, and public layoff trackers. Parts of the processing use automated text analysis, including an AI language model, to read figures out of news articles. Sources can be missing, late, duplicated or wrong, and automated analysis can misread them.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
The data and the score may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or unavailable. Scores marked provisional, degraded or reconstructed are known to be less reliable, but a score with no such mark can be wrong too. The index is one simplified model of a complicated market and may not reflect what is really happening in it.
4. Not advice
Nothing on this site is career, employment, financial, investment, legal or any other professional advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to take or avoid any action.
