Privacy policy
In short: this site does not ask for, collect or store personal information about you.
1. What we do not collect
- There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms.
- There are no cookies, and the pages do not store anything in your browser.
- There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- The pages load nothing from other websites: every page is a single file, plus an icon served from this site.
2. Hosting
The site is a set of static files served by Render and its content delivery network. Like any web host, Render may process technical information that your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, in order to deliver and secure the service. That processing is governed by Render's privacy policy. The operator of this site does not use this information to identify or track visitors.
3. Apps that use the index
Apps may fetch the same public data that this site publishes. Fetching it sends nothing about you beyond the ordinary request information described above. Each app is responsible for its own handling of your data under its own privacy policy.
4. The data behind the index
The index is built from public information about the job market: job openings published by companies and job boards, news headlines, and public layoff trackers. It is about companies and the market, not about individuals, and the site publishes only aggregate scores. If a public posting or article happens to mention a person, that text is used only to count openings and layoffs and is never shown on this site.
5. Children
The site is not directed at children and knowingly collects no information from anyone.
6. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
